Hillsdale Middle School-1301 Brabham St. El Cajon 92019Every morning about 1530 students arrive at our beautiful campus. At Hillsdale Middle School, students are greeted by 65 teachers and 81 support staff who are ready to accomplish the overarching goal of effective teaching and learning. Each employee has a vital role to play and does so with efficacy and expertise. The job of caring for and educating our children is of personal importance to us. Our students, in turn, respond to our welcoming atmosphere and rise to the academic challenges.
Hillsdale is the largest and highest achieving school in our region. Our Academic Performance Index (API) of 888 is easily the best score among middle schools in the East County. Our core academic subjects are aligned with the California State Standards to ensure a guaranteed and viable curriculum. Every teacher is “highly qualified” according to federal standards. The finest teachers in the Cajon Valley Union School District apply to join our faculty each year.
